Judii 0 Report post Posted July 7 I am planning a small weekend tint project and do not want it turning into a mess of wasted film and uneven cuts. For someone with basic tools and no professional experience, is a precut kit a better starting point?
Jimmy Sky 0 Report post Posted July 14 A weekend project can turn frustrating fast if too much time goes into measuring, marking, and correcting small cutting mistakes. I kept mine simple: cleaned the windows, laid out each piece, checked the orientation, and worked slowly with enough solution. Before that, I had tried trimming a spare sheet and the edges were never as clean as I wanted. With pre cut window tint, the process felt more manageable because the main shape was already sorted. I still needed patience, but the job stayed controlled and I did not burn through extra film.
