gaiusparx 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2008 I planning on the following computer, scv and phone wiring for a 4room resale flat. I intend to use one of the room as home office. Your comments and suggestions pls: * I will have one Singtel land line number, which will have one point at the hall near the TV console and one point in the study room. For the point in the study room, the phone point will connect to a phone and a multi function printer for fax purpose. For the phone point in the hall, there will be a phone connected and this line will also be the SingTel broadband line, I will connect a wifi modem/router/hub to the phone point in the hall. * I will lay 3 RJ45 cables from the wifi modem/router/hub in the hall to the study room. This will allow 2PCs in the study to connect to broadband at great wired speed. One cable is spare. My PS3 will be below the TV console and will connect to the hub wired. In future, network device such as MIO TV and AppleTV will connect to * The SCV point will be together with the SingTel point near the TV console.
