Congrates congrates! Finally get to see your floorplan. Very very nice one. I actually love the planters and ur idea of converting them to mini balconies. Simply love balconies, and u got a big one there. Can always "go out" of the house for fresh air and enjoy the view.

yeah i think i will buy the patio table/chair at ikea, quite cheap and good looking to be placed in the balcony to relax, drink coffee and enjoy the greenery view hehe.

last time you bought the lighting at extreme right? did they still charge $25 first light installation and $5 for all subsequent lights?

Yupz, I bought all my lights at extreme. But I didn't get them to install for me. I got Yeak to do that, and I think it's $8 per light installation bah.

Finally confirmed the ID.

Was shortlisting Yeak and Frontier concept after getting quotations from 5-6 ID's.

Both of them are very nice to talk to but in the end we chose Frontier concept since the ID can provide a lot more input on design of the whole place.

Actually Yeak's quote was the lowest, but managed to get Frontier's quote to only 1K higher than Yeak, so it's quite a reasonable quote for ID.

I'll be doing these works below with Frontier Concept ID, quote was 13.5K, need your input whether it's reasonable or not? Mostly carpentry works.

- Chengai decking for 3 planters area

- Laminate top for 3 bay windows area

- Wall feature (full length, 9ft wide) with display cabinet for living room

- Wall feature (full length) for MBR TV

- Extend MBR wardrobe by 2 ft (full length) with mirror on cabinet door

- Construct custom single bed with storage

- Tinted mirror backing in between kitchen top and bottom cabinets (2 walls)

- Construct shoe rack shelves in existing power cabinet

- Construct laminate ledge in passageway to put display/photo frames

- Contruct curtain pelmet for 6 curtain areas

- Electrical works: all light installations, 4 additional light points

yeah i tried to get the overall quote down, but managed to bargain about 500 only hehe.

the painting was for ICI pentalite 5 colors max.
