Choosing The Right Color For Laminated Flooring.

Hi all,

I m getting my 4rm flat soon, its new BTO.

Got a real tight budget, so thinking of getting laminated flooring as it is cheaper, and its nicer that means can buy lesser furniture.

I am looking at something lighter color, probably light rustic grey color would be nice.

But I saw lots of people use color similar to more wood or brown color for their flooring, so jus wanted to ask around is there a risk of take some unusual color for my floor. Is the lighter color more disadvantage than darker ones?

Can anyone pls advise?

#1- visualise for yourself if you can accept the colour in the long run, you wldnt want to get sick after 1 year looking at the same floor colour.

#2 - pick a colour that is matching and will enhance e whole look of the house with the decor, wall colour, furniture and colour scheme

My own preference is very dark laminated flooring, but eventually i opt for a lighter tone than my 1st choice

because i have dogs at home and the fur colour really contrast with the flooring. Makes the dust and dirt very obvious too.. so this one thing u have to consider

with dark floors.

Bring a few samples and go home n review... so u can make a better choice.

how come i usually see people use brown wood color for flooring?

is there something I dun noe?
