ejzoen 3 Report post Posted November 23, 2010 (edited) first time i saw this was @ crown casino in melbourne & they have the ceiling of hundreds of these with mirrors creating the infinity effect!! the i found this at SPACE last weekend & i'm super impress with this killer lamp by LOUIS POULSEN!!! u should see the reflection in the mirrors.. salivate.. they call this ARTICHOKE like the vegetable.. then i dnld the App for LOUIS POULSEN & saw more killer lamps!! ****!! esp this model i super love cos it soo retro!! dr.tran 1 Report post Posted March 19, 2011 (edited) I just got this handle for our HDB door, its some designer handle with great details. then handle is reasonably priced, unlike those in plaza singapura. Its squarish in design, but not sharp at all on the edges. coz all corners are *chamfered [just learn d term today, refer below] Unlike those square designs we see, they are all sharp and can cut. *cham·fer [cham-fer] –noun - 1. a cut that is made in wood or some other material, usually at a 45° angle to the adjacent principal faces the handle is also very suitable for HDB, coz our gates are very near to our door, so this handle is more compact & will not hit the gates. Lastly, the nicest part i like is the 45degree bend at the end of the handle, really adds details to the humble handle. Note, its not Yon tat, but Con tat. there are lots of threads that mentioned about both of them. so don't get confuse.. Its really cool!! & duno hw much? love PHILIPE STARCK!!! but smtime his thing r super overpriced. Saw this Sperm handle in IMM. really EX!! its like almost $700. Google up KLEIS as the manufacturer. c if u have any luck w that. I love starck 2!! YUP they r too ex... Contat quoted $500++ for handle only to be flown in via DHL from Italy. And i happen to chance upon this http://urbankaleidoscope.com/ site & its really cool..Design by TOM DIXON, its call BEAT! It can be use independent, but also look cool when its line up or in clusters. Ironically, I should have seen this before 1 bought my dining table lamp below are the pics from the site.
