Anyone Attempt To Plaster Their Own Room Before?

I am thinking of doing it myself but NOT sure if it is an easy job for someone with no experience..

any comments?

Does anyone have a professional plaster contractor to introduce?

I think will need lots of practicing, if you have the time and patience, it's not impossible. Maybe you can try somewhere inconspicuous? I have watched plastering before. You need to get those big wall trowels, 2 of them about A4 sized, big sponges and some wall putty.

Don't try if you are talking about the whole room. Get a professional. Small patches or lines is OK to DIY.

I am quite a DIY person and I must say people who do plastering really got kang-hu ! I wanted to learn brick laying, tiling and plastering in Singapore from any ITE but apparently they don't offer such courses any more. It was offered back in the 70s & 80s. No wonder no Singaporean joins the construction industry, no one has the skills !!

even lines are not easy. I used to part time as worker for renovation in my youth. LOL.
