I intent to do the following;

- kitchen cabinet

- feature wall

- hide the bomb shelter

- l-box

- shower screen door for both toilet

- change toilet doors

Take this as a guide, it can be more by 10-20% depending on material used.

-Kitchen cabinet top 10ft, bottom 10ft, total 20ft - $2000

If using Blum hinges, prepare to add in another $500

- Solid surface kitchen top, 10ft - $800

If using Corian solid surface is max. $1500

- India, Finland, Norway, Granite kitchen top, 10ft with 60-65mm backsplash, 40mm 45 deg front profile - $1500

If using China granite top, is ard $1000

- Quartz kitchen top, 10ft - $2000-$2900 depend on which models selected

- 6mm coloured tempered glass backsplach, 10ft - $800

Plumbling and electrical work for the kitchen area is ard $400

- Feature wall 6ft, simple design is ard $750

-TV console 6 ft, - $800

- Feature wall for bomb shelter, 6ft is ard $750

- L-box is calculate @$10pfr, if not doing much, is calculate as 1 lump sum.

- 10mm tempered glass shower screen, 1 fix panel, 1 swing door cost $400 each L1.5m x H1.8m

Sliding tempered glass shower screen is $600 each

- Toilet door is depend on brand and material used. Normal Top hung bi-fold door cost $250each, Pd door cost $269-$399each.

Dismantling and disposal of existing HDB toilet door and also make good the surrounding area will cost u another cost ard $400.

If you are doing quite a bit on fixtures then will be more expensive due to it is make to measure.

also set aside ur about 2K for your lightings, lighting point, cable point (if need to shift) and wiring.

window8, it would be good to ask around for quotations from contractors....tat would be a gd gauge....

however, as per ur list below and dependent on the material cost (according to wat kind of material u choose), on a safe bet, u need to set aside at least about 25k to 30k....

I got mention as above on the lighting part. For advise would be 2K. Things keep increasing but no salary. sigh~~

During renovation period there are a few things need cash -

1) Kitchen

- hob and hood

- kitchen basin

- tap

- fridge

( check the measurement first then ask ur ID/contractor to do the measurement, if you want to do base for your fridge. )

- washing machine and dryer (if needed)

( check the measurement first then ask ur ID/contractor to do the measurement, if you want to do base for your washer and dryer. )

2) Air-con ( must know what system and how many compressor you want. Eg . system 4 for all the rooms and one for the living room)

Others like living room and bedroom all depends on the design which you liase with your ID/contractor. :paint:

Do remember that if anything which is required to build then you need to get it first.

false ceiling and L box

living rm partition and full height shoe cabinet

kitchen (the usualy stuff) (it normally measure up to 24 ft with solid top at abt 3 - 4k)

mbr wr + bedframe with storage + low cabinets at window side + 2 side table

Ok, I see. Intend to buy bit-by-bit. So son't need to outlay so much cash when the time comes.. . .

Thanks anyway for yr suggestions.

By the way, anyone had any idea what other item does BTO flats comes with apart from the doors which I bought and the done-up flooring. . .

I was wondering does it comes with sink, taps and etc.

How about toilets, we install our own sink too?
