A.m.e Journey

Recommended Posts

Hey hey all. It has been a while since i last post. My handover date was 29th June. All paid up, curtains up. So much of unpackings need to be done. Finally after weeks of companion by the sofa, i can sleep on my mattress. I can say the renovation is completed 99.875%. Less than 1% will be done after my unpacking as Michael promise me 1 last paint touch up if i damage the wall while unpacking which i did. :P

I will certainly post up pictures of newly items like my curtains and completed glass backing.

Just a short review of my contractor, Michael from I.D.Note

- No renovation is a perfect journey, so is mine. Hiccups along the way, but i prefer to face it positively. Although the renovation took a bit longer than expected, but the end result is fantastic. Michael response may not be immediate but will certainly get back to me. Any details which i am not satisfy and pointed out to him, he will rectify it asap or otherwise explain. His pricing is definitely negotiable, quality wise should be of market standard. Overall, i will recommend him to anybody if they need a trust worthy contractor. Everything in black and white.

I hope all will enjoy the tons of pictures which i had uploaded. More to come as expansion and decor items are on the way. Next is to DIY my water feature. Still waiting for samples from my FSM.

Stay tune for more and suggestions are always welcome..

Hi all

it has been more than 1 month since i have last post. I am busy working, unpacking, planning for my house warming etc.

I just want to share more on my I.D Michael and window contractor Alex.

I bought more toilet accessories after i moved in, but not much experience in doing fixing. Called up to Michael, he arranged it nicely for me. F.O.C of course.

Today my wife complained about kitchen toilet door having difficulties in closing. After a sms to Alex, he came down personally to fix it up.

I am so glad that i found 2 contractors who are able to respond to me even though after services. I just want to express my sincere gratitude for helping me.

I bought a water feature and decorating with with plants. Will upload soon to share with all. I will take the photos of the curtains as well.

Hey all

Its been more than 2 years since my last post and hope all are doing great and having fun with their reno. I believe sharing is the best thing i can offer and contribute to those who are looking for a reliable window contractor.

As i said, 2 years passed and some thing are bound to get defective or spoilt due to wear and tear. Here i would like to share with all my wonderful experience with Alex who is my window contractor 2 years ago. 2 of my windows got stuck and unable to move freely for months, until i really got annoyed by the inconvenience, i called up Alex and asked for advise. 2 days after the call, he came straight over my place today and verified was the roller issue. He changed out the defective items and thereafter recommended me on the kind of maintainence i should follow in the future. He did not charge me for any services or replacement even i insisted. The same old friendly Alex which i known since 2010 and his after sale service was 100% fantasic.

For those who really need a reliable and after service window contractor, you might want to give yourself and Alex a chance to meet up for a discussion. Pictures speak a thousand words, please refer to my previous posting on my window installation.

So far so good on the rest of my renovation. There are still some wear and tear somewhere but still manageable. Please share with everyone if you encounter great services from someone. You will make his/her day more beautiful.

Thanks for reading.
