hi,

can anyone please enlighten me which kind of wood is the best?

1.) solid mahogany wood

2.) teak wood

3.) solid plywood

if wardrobe, I think solid plywood should be fine.

teak will be good but expensive.

I thot the SOP is to determine the theme first then talk about matarial selection.

No point have solid teak wardrobe then stain with black colour theme, which I think is real waste of precious teak.

Teak got teak veneer versions.

Plywood can paste with laminates, veneers.

thank you for all your replies, as i would like to make it in victorian design and spray paint it so no laminated cover is needed, anyway, thank you for all your advices.

Actually u are looking for classic wood that normally use for euro style of design such as country, victorian, theme etc....these type of wood is usually crafted and vanish or spray painted rather than using laminate to paste it.
