Questions On Renovating A 3i Corridor Unit

Recommended Posts

Anyone knows if the bathroom and toilet (separated by wall) can be merged? There are some huge pipings and the position of the toilet bowl is situated in-between which I think is a problem since this cannot be relocated. Anyone has a solution for this? Appreciate any help. Thank you

Hi, I don't have a floor plan currently but I think it's a typical 3i layout where there is no master bathroom in the bedroom. There's a toilet and bathroom in the kitchen. Both (toilet and bathroom) are separated with a face basin outside. Thing is I like the flat's location but my concern is how to renovate it to my liking.

think its the same as mine..my unit also does not have a master bathroom. i have one squat WC and one separate shower with basin. where is your unit? there are quite a lot of 3-rms on the t-blog section. can have a read and see how others do theirs. some completed/almost completed examples are ossify, goobii and baby81984.

Now, I understand WHAT you are talking about.

- MBR got tiolet but no "bathing" installation.

- Common tiolet (kitchen) got tiolet & "bathing" installation.

- Now you want to "merge" the 2 tiolets into 1 ?

See carefully, both tiolets are situated in a "L'. There is no "common" wall in between the 2 !

marging is not a problem for certain flat, is depending on situation, Not all 3 room HDB flat are the same, even the drainage pipe position,

Permit for approval is very easy, only thing is the work, involve alot of detail. as chinese says .. " Your whole body will shake by pulling your one hair"

Hi

has anyone managed to hack the wall between the MBR toilet and the common toilet to merge the two in a 3NG flat before? I am hoping to do that. Not sure if it is a feasible idea. Please advise! thanks :)

Mookie
