steppenwolf 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2010 So i just bought the EGG 9232SX hob at the warehouse sale. I was interested in getting the 33sx model as it comes with the Safety Flame Device. I had the impression that you need the safety flame device so the hob will cut the gas supply if the wind blows out the flame. However the sales guy said since i'm using the LPG gas cylinder, that the regulator for the cylinder will do that job for me. Hence i won't really need the safety flame device.
