I was told the custom wardrobe or cabinet is calculated by per feet

full height is 240 per feet.

hall or less the full height is 110 per feet

both are regardless of the height or width.

any comment ?is the price good?

i knw a topic mention standard/guide price for carpentry work etc. could not find it :

thats the price i was quoted too. no diff.

but, the height part is not true. if your ceiling is high, eg, condo or top floor units. you may have to top up to do full height cabinets

it depend on the item, i got quite a few diff price.

Full height sliding door wardrobe $210

Full height casement door wardrobe $200

n for those vanity low cabinet $100

all above are for hdb n with laminated finishing.

low height $100..

For my study cabinet, ID quoted me:

Design & construct 1set of 2100mm x suspended study work desk c/w drawer units in solid ply--$1000

Design & construct 1set of 2100mm x suspended top hung books cabinet c/w drawer units in solid ply laminated finishing c/w internal polygon-$1000

Seems quite ex if full height is 240 per feet and half or less the full height is 110 per feet .........

I think the quote will also take into account the type of laminate you use, the thickness of the wood and any other special requirements.
