tailgatepro 1 Report post Posted June 19, 2010 my air con spoilt and my exisitng compressor is at 3rd floor handing outside. Is it advise to install compressor at 1st floor but units cooling at 3rd floor. Bcos i had asked 4 quote, so said put 1st floor is better. (can easily maintain and cleaning) some said 3rd floor as if 1st floor, compressor got hard time pump up the freon and may also pump the oil up if long run. if put at 3rd floor, not many contractor can do maintainace, must rent sicssor lift or scafloating.
