Possible To Hack Beam On The Ceiling?

Hi,

My HDB flat is on the top floor, and in the kitchen, there's a beam on the ceiling. I'm wondering if I would be able to remove all of it or at least half of it?

Does anybody have the same experience to share?

beams cannot be hacked..i also want to hack if its possible.

ur unit is top floor.

U want to hack the beam.

Later roof drop on ur head then u know

No way.Hdb will never allow it.Tryy find another alternative la or check with your contractor or your Neighbourhood hdb officer.Some cases u can plaster to make it loook nice or use wall decals.

Yeah, cannot hack. I also went to HDB website to check. Too bad, just have to live with it or like vinder79 said, do something to make it less obvious.

You can't hack..but you can install false ceiling to cover it
