Fengshui First Or Design First?

I go across a lot of my friends, somehow we talk about fengshui for house if we would have to list the priority, fengshui (even though the design is not what you desire) or own desire design first?

I find fengshui and design is conflicting to each other most of the time...

Well, feng shui is to make ur life smoother...I'd think that feng shui & design can go hand in hand...u need to get your feng shui master & ID together to discuss. For me, my feng shui master said i hav to put 2 compass on my ceiling and i was rather reluctant coz doesn't look nice...then my ID came up w a box up design to cover up the compasses.

I would imagine that the similarity between fengshui and a good design is common sense. but then again I could be wrong

In my opinion, feng shui should take priority. No point going through the design without knowing type of Qi flowing in the house.

i think that fengshui is very important as it can affect everything that might happens.
