Hi,

Please share the address & detail of the furniture shop in JB?

Please also advise on other additional charges like GST, delivery charges, custom charges, etc and also the payment mode as in how much for deposit, etc.

Thank you.

Hi Dizy, can you please PM the name and address of the JB furniture shop ? Many thanks!

Hi All, we haven buy anything there but we went to this shop:

Casa Lifestyle

19 & 21 Jalan Austin Perdana

3/8 Taman Austin Perdana

generally the charges for buying inside as much as we can think of are:

- levy (usually RM100)

- transportation (can be waived if buy to a certain amount)

- GST (by SG)

- Labor charge if furnitures u buy are too big to enter ur lift and needs to be carried up by stairs

all these charges are up to urself to bargain except for the GST...

Furniture Shopping

After our JB furniture shopping rendezvous, we only set sight on 2 particular set of sofas which are 2.7m and 2.8m respectively...

Unfortunately, we do not have the luxury of space and this length is definitely too long for us... hence in the end, we resorted to shopping for sofa back in our homeland once again...

Went to Furniture Mall on Wednesday and when we went into Lorenzo, a set of sofa straight away caught the eye of the hubby and he immediately went to 'attach' his butt to that sofa... WOW! it was amazing.. the wife then 'attached' her butt too and fell in love right away..

Comfort was right! Looks was right too!! but price.... =.=" (not right!)

But alas, both DiZy couldn't resist to temptation and finally bought that sofa, together with the dining set with a free coffee table...

Carpets

The wife is pretty particular about the "feel" of the carpets we are gonna buy.. She needs it to be soft and smooth and really comfortable..

Thus, we've been searching for carpets that fits her requirements and at the same time doesn't burn a big hole in our pockets..

We've had experiences with shops telling us a 140 x 200mm carpet costs $600+++ and even more.. To us, that price is way over budget..

Ikea had some pretty nice carpets with ok "feel" but the colours were not really suitable for our theme..

Finally, the wife searched on the Internet and found this shop selling shaggy carpets.. No price was indicated on the website but we still went ahead to have a look today..

And....

We got 3 pieces of silky shaggy carpet! Wife was really happy with the feel.. Very soft and smooth.. The price was reasonable too.. They also had a wide variety of colours..

Some photos to share...

One of the carpets we bought..

Panasonic Fridge (Inverter) [NR-BY551XSSG]

We were originally thinking of getting an unfanciful Hitachi fridge and only after we saw this for a mere $200 more for an inverter fridge and the looks that mesmorized us that we were certain we are getting this model..

Can i ask what was the damage for this fridge and where did you get it?
