Installing A Lap Pool

Dear all,

Anyone has installed a lap pool on their landed property and what is the estimated cost? I understand the monthly maintenance of the pool, filters, treatment may require up to $400-500 per month. Thus, thinking if the upfront capital investment for the pool and the maintenance cost will justify for a better return in future on the property's value. Though saw an article on Propertyguru, a pool installation could increase the value of the house by 5%. Will appreciate any feedback ! Thanks
