Help! Newbie..

Hi seniors,

I am really a newbie that knows nuts about reno, I need to look for contractor to help me do renovation for my house kitchen. My unit was previously own by a malay family, and the kitchen has a row of symbol in the entire kitchen wall tiles, hence we would like to remove it, but heard that we cannot just remove that row of tiles, will damage all tiles, and it would cost me bomb to do so..

Also, we would like to change the current kitchen cabinet, but heard again from some ID that changing it will damage the floor tiles, another huge cost.. Anyone can provide me solution? What I need to do is as follow:

1.Change exisiting kitchen cabinet

2.Cover(?), get rid and replace the wall tiles that has the symbols

3.Redo the 2 bathroom (Changing everything)

For 3. we actually like to do reglazing, but heard from ID that reglazing in bathroom is not good, but dunno why so, he mentioned something like water is not good to reglazing etc..

My budget is only around $13k, can any kind soul please suggest what should I do for the kitchen + 2 bathroom at a low cost? And who should I approach to get to do this job? Million thanks to all the seniors..
