exploda 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 (edited) Hi all, I am new to this forum and i have some questions regarding renovating a bedroom. I use to share the bed room with my brother and now he got his own flat, so the room fully belong to me I am also a toy collector and i am running out of space. So, I am planning to: -remove the double decker bed (custom made) replace with those on the floor type queen size bed. -fill my wall with wall display cabinet just beside my bed. -relocated my computer table (custom made) to another location. (Am i able to use back the table material as it still seem new and sturdy) -lastly relocate some of the power point and tv point I have draft out a floor plan below not scale to the room thou So i am wondering if do a partial renovate on the bedroom, usually how much will it cost? I thank those who reply to my thread in advance! Edited March 7, 2011 by exploda

exploda 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2011 (edited) First of all, what are the problems u r trying to solve? Lack of book cabinets to store books since u r a book lover? U need a lot of room to sleep that's y u converted your single bed to a queen size? What's your lifestyle n routine like? All these have to be throughly thought through before doing any renovation. For example if u spend little time at home a queen sized bed may be reasonable since the only time when u r in you room is to sleep. If the Scv box is the living room u might find a tv installed in your room redundant since u dun fancy channel 5 anyway. Just some points for u to ponder so it's hard to comment in your design since I can't tell whether it's practical or serves it's purpose. Diva79 thank for you comment! Haha i not a book lover, I am a toy figuring collector, i am running out of space to display my toy. So i am thinking to create a wall display cabinet by my bed. Why change my bed to a queen size? Because some time my gf will stay over at my house, single bed isn't enuff for both of us XD Usually i will "hide" in my room to watch the TV and play PC games/surf the net. The new positioning of my computer table and bed is necessary so that i can surfing the net and watch the TV at the same time.
