Partition/divider For Computer Table In Living Area

Recommended Posts

Due to space constraint in the bedrooms and there is no study, I have to place the computer in the living area. I would like to have a partition or divider to allow for privacy etc. Need not be full height. My concern of office table with partitions would make it looking too much of an office. My wife doesn't like those portable room dividers. Any suggestions or solutions?

TIA

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request
How about a narrow full height bookshelf, or a sheet of frosted glass?

Thinking of that as well. Frosted glass would look good. Would need to talk to the contractor about building one. I prefer something that would not be fixed permanently so there would be flexibility to change the space later.

Thanks!

instead of frosted glass, if you have the budget, you can opt for glass with japanese paper or leaves or bougainvillea flowers in between. not cheap but gives a softer look than frosted glass.

or you could DIY with this idea from ikea hackers http://www.ikeahackers.net/2011/03/ikea-vases-for-translucent-rounded.html
