abupapa 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2011 (edited) Hello All,Below is a pic of the current piping done my contractor's plumber. It used to be a PVC pipe and I decided to change it to chrome piping. However, my contractor failed to notice that PVC pipe is actually gets bigger at the bottom (as shown in the red box). Thus the chrome pipe (50mm),which does not get bigger at the bottom, is not able to fit now and I am left with this predicament. Removing the whole PVC cover is not an option as it would lead to future leakage which will affect my neighbour below. He offered to paint the PVC cover over and I think it's a very bad idea and I cannot accept it. Does any one has any advice on this? I am at my wits end and I do not think his suggestion is feasible. The current chrome pipe is 50mm, he says there are no chrome pipe of this size that is able to replace the PVC cover. Is this true? Please help. Thanks!
