How Do I Keep My Do From Destroying Furniture When I Leave Home?

Every time I am away I come home to a mess. My dog has chewed up the living room furniture to the point of embarrassment. I love the dog and right now am afraid to buy any new furniture. HELP PLEASE!

Is he/she an adult already (if puppy then mabbie teething ba...)? It could be that he/she is bored or lonely since no one is at home.. Does he/she have lots of challenging toys to keep busy with?

Not sure how big is yr dog, but u can consider restricting an area for him/her while u are away. e.g. like put him in a pen?

Try either Bitter Apple or Bitter Yucks from Pet Lover Centre. It is supposed to discourage dogs from chewing by leaving a bitter taste on the area sprayed. It didn't work on my dogs thou...
