are there many people who bought furnitures from webstores and discovered defects in the furnitures?

maybe the furniture are returned by other customers and then resold to these webstores for selling to unknowing customers...who knows.

where do furnitures with some defects "hidden in some dark corners"... end up in? webstores or as display sets?

Good is not cheap, cheap is not good.

The items on bed specialist are so cheap that the factory can't even afford to do QC.

Theoretically, eliminating costs of having physical store and passing the savings to cosumers is good. Beds.sg is a good online store. You can check their forum and customer feedback postings.
