Concealing Of Cables

Hi All,

I would like to find out if there are other ways to conceal cables other than doing false ceiling?

I might want to run more power point and LAN points.

Mine is a HDB so hacking will not be legal too.

LAN is more reliable, stable and faster. Downside is you have to run the wiring to every place that you want to have a network device connected to.

Thanks xtac. But what confuses me is that some tell me using the better wireless router can also allow fast Internet connection. And the range is quite far also.

i only use lan points at home...

LAN is definitely more reliable.

E.g. If you subscribe to 100Mbps fibre plan, you might get 80-90Mbps on LAN while 30-40Mbps on wireless.

Other factors that might affect the wireless connection are walls and bends.

However if you feel that 30-40Mbps is more than enough for you then you can consider going wireless.

You can get a Dual Band Wireless Router to improve your connection.

For myself, I would like to have a more stable connection plus higher speed therefore I am looking at LAN.
