Recommended Posts

I discovered mould growing under our wooden study table since beginning of the year. I have not get around to clear it. Now thinking of clearing it.

How to clear it? When it come back again after clearing it?

There is a CPU under the table - could the heat from CPU resulted the mould under the table?

Pls advise?

Many thanks!!

Is that an air-con room? Could be due to the water vapour and when the room is aired, the heat may also play a part.

Quality of wood also make a difference.

My current bookshelf has the tendency to get mouldy too. However, I had no problem with my other wood furniture.

Mold is the result of dampness, especially virulent in our humid climate. You get a lot of mold around tile grouts in bathroom walls and sink/tap joints.

Best method is to spray a mold remover on the mold to kill it.

My method is very cheap, and is described in length on my blog.
