Buying Furniture From Overseas (Thailand, Etc)

Hi peep,

Am new here and have been reading the threads here for information as I will be getting my flat next Feb. I like the 50s to 70s furniture like what Lorgan's have but my pocket is not deep enough.

Hence, I tried Thailand. I've asked for 2-3 quotations (mainly from BKK) but alas!! the prices are slightly cheaper if not similar to the ones in Singapore. They quoted me:

Sofa - from SGD 1k onwards

Coffee table - SGD 350 onwards

Dining Chair - SGD 180 onwards

TV console - SGD 750 onwards

and the prices above do not including shipping, tax and other costs.

I really like the pieces. Is there anyway I can get them cheaper in Singapore or to Singapore? I have checked Indonesia as well but prices are similar.
