How To Check If Digital Lock Can Be Installed On Door?

Hi everyone,

Am about to purchase a Yale digital lock. I also understand that it may not fit any door. What should I be looking at in order to ensure that the lock can be installed onto the door?

Any clearance/distance I need to take note of?

digital lock normally require a certain thickness (min 40mm) before you can install. You can check with the instruction before buying. It's not easy to install as you may need to drill hole to hold the locking mechanism.
