Encroachment

Hi all,

Just completed re-roofing my home and my neighbor complain that that my roof capping encroach into his place. Is it possible to encroach someone with the capping? My contractor says that capping is required to cover his place and mine as our tiles are of different design and the capping is required to cover the gaps between our tiles.

Any expert opinion here?

I think you should engage a license surveyor to check the encroachment. They are the specialist to verify the encroachment. They also can issue drawing shows how much the encroachment.
