Hdb Disapproved Hacking Application

Intend to hack 2 walls for our upcoming Reno of our 4S prefabrication flat. Nothing extraordinary, wall between kitchen n living room and wall between master bedroom n bedroom 2.

Was told by contractor that HDB disapproved our application by PE.

Has anyone managed to get an approval of similar jobs?

Wonder if we can appeal.

Depends on the plan.. was the wall you wanna hack in black bold line? Means structural wall or beam

Was there any reason given? Call HDB and ask?

Read before for pre-fab walls, some cannot be hacked.

They aren't structural walls and I have seen a few prefab houses with same layout had hacked away the same wall.

When I brought a few IDs n contractors to view the site for quotation, all said shouldn't be any problem.

My contractor informed me abt the status. I have yet to see the written reply.

Hope to appeal the application.
