  1. Hi June, Mind to share where did you get the latest addition racks? TIA
  2. Hi, I spotted a CatherineHolm poster, mind to share where did you get it from? Tks.
  3. Hi theitsybits, May I know where did you get the pink & yellow folding stools?
  4. Ultimately, you are the ones gonna stay in the house, just do what you like. Just take the comments like a pinch of salt. BTW, my 2-way heater switch doesn't work quite as simple as a 2-way for lights. Y'day K & my hubby were figuring out how it works and realised that both points have to be at the ON mode to activate the heater. My hubby vaguely explained to me & said it's not logic. I don't quite get him, but I will up and see for myself today. It's best for you to check with K again. K is handing over the house to me (hopefully) today and we will go in to clean tmr. Big move on Sat!
  5. Hi theitsybits, Those lights can be found in most lighting shops, they are outdoor lights. I recalled checking out the price, it's abt $19 each, at Lightcraft. Other shops alongside Balestier do have it too. Very suitable for industrial theme, I wanted to get it, but hubby opposed as the light cover requires a screw to hold it and he said too troublesome when changing bulb. I also have a lot of switches everywhere, including 2-way, it's better to over provide than you find that it's insufficient after moving in. Dun worry, u are not the only one who must do research and kept changing mind! Reno is a whopping huge expense and you will have to live with it for many years. We had very bad experience with our first Reno. Thus, this time I make sure that I am in control of everything. I told K to check with me first before doing anything. Cheers!
  6. Me too! Anticipating to see another K's creation.
  7. My carpentry is cmg today and installation next few days. Nx week, K will come in to touch up the painting, electrical and pipings. Not that I don't want to move in, my carpenter can only make it this week...I also getting very tired of the whole thingy. Losing interest and wanna getover n done with asap liao. At this point, it's nothing except packing, packing n more packing which i hated most. Thanks for liking my cement screed. I went back/forth with K umpteen times on the application. (sealant or not, smooth or rough) He was very patience with me. Did he show u final kitchen lights on night shots? K was did the final plotting for me! More updates coming in this week!
  8. Hey, Can I triple LIKE your brick wall? I hv 2 wks to go before moving in... Hmmmmm Should I? Hehehe!!!!
  9. I'm waiting anxiously to see the end results! Dun worry, there's always Watsapp as avenue of comminications.
  10. Woo-hoo!!!! Can't wait to see the brick wall!!!! K is taking a 'break' from mine until mid June when my flooring n carpentry are up.
  11. Hey Pinkwhale! What more can I say except triple LIKE your dining table! Lovely piece!!! Unfortunately, we cannot hack any walls as every single slab is structural membrane, only peculiar to a few blocks in Yishun. Yes, we are the lucky ones! No more open kitchen/dining concept, no more huge masterbedroom, but I've got a dressing room with attached bath! That means we are only restricted to a small dining table in the tiny dining area tucked with the kitchen. Still searching for it. Maybe I wanna design my own dining table & fabricate. Bought the Haiku fan! Hubby was still hesitant when we were at Universal Union, so didnt order. Then I tried my luck asking a quote from Zero, together with my washing machine, hob & hood, and he gave me a better price then UU. So, hubby finally agreed!!! Next is to convince him on the white venetian blinds... K finished all the wetwork, electrical & plumbing. Going into painting next week. Then my laminated flooring n carpentry will come in, shd be on schedule. He's really getting popular these days! Kudos to u n Paloma, both of u shd get a referral fee from him.. Hahahaha... BTW, can u PM me your email or FB account? Not gonna start a t-blog here, but will definitely share with you the pics of the completed products.
  12. Hi Aya! Do u mind to PM me your blinds contact? TIA!
  13. Now I understand..... I actually prefer smooth surface, but also want sealant..so I have to bear the patchy effect. Shall discuss with hubby again. We did the electrical plan till 2.30am last nite. We are particular abt the aesthetic and functionality of the points, so we done up our own plan n specs for him.
  14. Oh I actually had the wrong perception! I thought easi plaster is for rough surface only n smooth surface is cement screed. Didn't know it can be for both finishes. What abt sealant? For both too? A little confused here, hope u bear with me.... Our progress? Day 2, done with hacking n clearing. He just txt me that tiling starts tmr n electrician may be coming. I have not finalise my electrical plan yet!!!!! K is getting popular, 4 houses concurrently! Hubby told him not to prioritise ours as we cannot cope with his pace! Plus we are not in a hurry to move in. Hahaha...
  15. I see... Will be doing easy plaster, like yours. The PVC won't be exposed right?
