Engage Kerni From I-Bridge At Your Own Risk!

Recommended Posts

Had recently gotten our house renovated and I must say it was a very bad experience. Attitude (after signing the contract) was a complete difference as compared to when we were scouting around for a designer house at Expo; arrogant/"sialan" attitude, lies and many other stuff which will take a long time to describe in detail.

To start off, before we signed the contract, I actually verbally asked the brand of laminate flooring which will be provided as part of the renovation package and her answer was a quick and direct one word "Pergo". Had wanted to make sure that was stated in the contract but somehow slipped my mind after that. When we came to the part whereby we had to choose the laminate design, I was passed an "ACE" sample booklet. I later asked her how come I was not given Pergo samples and she said that those samples had all been taken by other customers (yet to be returned), and that ACE is actually part of the Pergo family. She said that if I wanted to wait for the Pergo samples we may not be able to complete the renovation in time. I did some research and even called up the supplier of ACE in Singapore and got a confirmed answer that ACE is totally not related to Pergo at all and that ACE is actually OEM from China. I told KerNi this and instead of admitting her lie, she even challenged me "that is what ACE tells us; are you trying to say that the salesperson from ACE is lying?" Come on, who does she think she is trying to kid? And I think this is very serious; she could well be sued by the supplier of ACE and Pergo for saying something like that.

Not willing to give in, we actually visited Floorrich and chose our desired laminates. A few days later, KerNi said that she has told us many times that we are only entitled to the Pergo family range of flooring (and mind you, we did choose the real Pergo Family range), not the actual Pergo brand. According to her, this includes ACE and other brands which Floorrich is carrying (the Floorrich salesperson dismissed this as nonsense). Her lie was getting increasingly blatant. We were told that we had to top-up if we insist on using the ones we had chosen. We decided not to argue with her at that point of time because time was really running out. You see the way she tried to work around my insistence?

Fast-forward to renovation completion and we had to top-up $1200! Even the Floorrich salesperson agreed that this was way too much. I couldn't stand it any longer and managed to get the contact number of i-Brige's boss Alwin Ho and complained many stuff to him. He decided to give us a $400 discount which I wasn't really pleased with actually.

More bad experiences to be continued...
