congrats on the near completion of your reno !

i think the re-lamination process will involve dismantling the cabinets, tearing out the old laminate and putting in the new laminate. not sure if the cabinets may be damaged during the process.

Ya lor. We are thinking maybe can minimize damage if we get a good carpenter. *sigh*

Otherwise maybe just open an eye, close an eye and settle with what we have.

Hi StaleBread, congratz on your completion... :yeah:

Wanna ask you bout this glass supplier, is the workmanship good?

thanks..

If you need full length mirror for your wardrobe (like we do), can consider this

http://www.framesandglass.com/mirrors.html

Ordered three 38 x 160 x 0.3 cm mirrors for $98 per piece (our door was 40cm wide btw)

Include delivery and installation

Their shop is near Boon Keng Mrt and my workplace. So was very convenient for me to drop by and pay deposit

They also answer sms queries quite promptly

We may even get tempered glass from them (for our coffee table top).

90 x 60cm for $72, but need additional $40 for delivery. So guess we will cash and carry instead.

I used them for framing prints and paintings. Personally feel they are professional, cost wise didn't really do comparison quotes previously, but remember to bargain.

I was quite happy with the product and its installation.

But was a little concern the measurement I gave did not cater enough to put the peg that hold up the mirror

Not sure how if it turn out too be too wide

Did hit a glitch during installation due to the material my wardrobe was built in

but a workaround was quickly implemented.

So yes, they were quite professional.

I too did not do any quote comparison and there was no bargaining

So not sure if I over paid.

Moved in for almost a month now and I have been putting off doing this.

I wanted to say that I have been busy, but the truth is that my time was stolen by Procrastination.

First of all, the finished product

We get all our down lights and cove lights from Zenterra.

Their lights are not the cheapest, but competitive.

However the light installation is free because we engaged them to do our electrical wiring, and that saved a lot.

They were very professional and gave us some advice on lights placement where we needs it.

Was a lifesaver since we know very little of what we need.

They have very good reviews in this forum, and I highly recommend them

Wife likes the copper brown organza curtain a lot

We got them and all our curtains from MGL Curtain

Every good things we heard about them on this forum was true.

Joey attended to us and was very patient and provided us with very useful information, even before we decided to go with them

I was a bit concern about matching the curtains with our deco since we can only show her the colors we agreed with our ID from a paint catalog.

But Joey was able to give us a few good recommendations based on our preferred design

We also compared their quotes with another recommended shop and we find MGL quotes more competitive.

Hi Stalebread,

how do you find your condenser dryer? I heard from the salesman that you must remove your clothes from the dryer within 10 min. Otherwise, the water will condense on the dry clothes and they will become wet again.

No leh. Did not have such experience.

So far so good. Was quite happy with the noise level and heat level it generate around the laundry area.

But may need to review usage after seeing the pub bill

One thing different I would have done was to let Zenterra take care of the installation of even the pendant lights

we got from other shops, since most shops out source their installation. The one I got was very late and not very well prepared.

We were lucky Zenterra was there to help pick up the slack.

That's good to know. We are keen to get a front load washer-cum-condenser dryer from LG. How long do you usually wait before you remove your dried clothes from the dryer?

And thanks for the Zenterra recommendation. I will check them out.
