Agree with summersann! If you are not sure, ask lots of question when you visit the nursery. I love talking to the uncle taking care of the plants. One very easy plant to put indoor is money plant.

cactus? lol

Many ppl have advised against having cactus in the hse due to bad feng shui: 会伤和气, casue dispute, arguement, etc. in the hse.. but up to individual's preference ba!

Terrariums! :)

I like this! Can advise where to get, especially where there is variety to choose from?

I only hv the usual orchid, evergreen, 铁树 in the hse.. mostly bou from Ikea..

You can check this place out - http://www.facebook.com/greenbanana.net?fref=ts

But he mostly uses cacti in his terrariums.

Otherwise, you can check out http://www.paperus.com.sg/index.html. They use a variety of plants. But they are quite expensive :P

Thanks! Ya, Paperus looks expensive.. a glass bottle already $45.. no pictures to see on the website somemore..

By the way, one way to counter the bad feng shui effects of cactus i heard.. jus tie a red ribbon around it, i.e. if it does not seem out of plc in a modern comtemporary style.. :P

Very nice. Will be a reference when I do mine.

The earlier no-gap bricks layout is actually the "12 cup cake" style. Go any branch and you'll see it. :)

Personally I also prefer wider gap. Look nicer and save a few pieces of bricks by spacing wider. :D

The top board of the TV console seems to be sagging down, or was it due to the wide angle lens effect?

Anyway, I copied a shop's address from magazine that sells the same kind of furniture as JE. Not sure if the pricing is comparable or...?

If anyone has visited, please share experience.
