I have been lurking for quite sometime, decided finally to register and get some help.

Gonna get my first home, a 5RM - 123SqM. We're planning to do the following at a budget of 25K, would appreciate if you guys can provide your input. Thanks

Works:

• Hacking of entire unit (build-in cabinets in Kitchen, 3 rooms, and some shelving in the hall)
• new titles and single bottom cabinet for kitchen
• revamp 2 toilets (sanitary ware will be provided by us)
• changing of all windows and windows and grills
• polishing of marble flooring (hall + 3 rooms)
• painting of entire unit (all white)
• re-running of electrical wiring

Thanks for the input, guess it's time to just go shopping.

Was toying with the idea if we can go to a contractor direct since we wanna stretch the dollar.

Hi konpop,

hmmm 20k might be a tight budget looking at the things you wanna do... safe zone will be 30k since rooms and living hall all marble which only require polishing (not hacking and replacing tiles).

Just my point of view.
