Shifting Of Pd Box In New Bto Flats

Hi all,

We have paid the deposit for our 3-room unit at Bukit Batok but recently I have been very vexed with the floor plan, which has the PD box perpendicular to the main door. I want to shift the box such that it is parallel to the main door, in order not to block the entrance to the kitchen (planning to have an open kitchen). Is it possible and has anyone done something similar? Any replies will be much appreciated.

P.S. I understand that some flats have PD boxes incorporating gas pipes that cannot be removed but I'm wondering if that applies to only some flat designs.
