joon.geroy 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2014 i recently had new tiles laid on my toilet floors. however, they look kinda dull with some stains, probably from dried cement/mortar during the installation process. i've washed the floor twice already and gently scrubbed it with a sponge and floor tiles cleaner but it didn't work. my contractor wiped some chemical on it but that didn't work either. any suggestions on what i can do? i've heard of doing a chemical wash. would that help? thanks for your advice! lesliesim 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2014 The contractor who have done this should clean it for you. Not recommended for you to chemical wash yourself, might burn your hand or wash of the cement filling in the gap.
joon.geroy 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2014 yeah, i told the contractor to clean it. they wiped a bit of soap and chemical but that didn't work. then they said that's normal and that it would go after a few washes. :-( i'll try this HCL 89 chemical which i saw in one of the threads here and see if that works.
