Question On Insulation For Split System Aircon

Recommended Posts

Guest Lung Kwan Liu

Hi all,

I recently had my 1st installation for aircon for my unit yesterday, and when I check the status today, I saw that a single insulation is used for both the gas and liquid pipe. I can only see the part exposed (to connect to blower) and other part is covered by trunking.

The company said that the inside are all going by seperate insulation, and only the part connecting to blower has to go with single insulation. Any aircon expert can confirm this?

Thank you so much for your help in advance.
