Guest Jan Donyada Report post Posted November 23, 2015 (edited) My wife and I (no kids) are looking around for a good bottom freezer fridge - salesman recommended Fisher E402BRX4, claimed it was top quality compared to peers in its price range (stainless steel ball bearings used for drawers, glides very smoothly when drawn, and strong - he leaned his entire weight on one). Doors apparently made from stainless steel too, but the warranties weren't 10 years like the other brands (something like 2 yrs rust warranty, 5 yrs motor (?) warranty). Also, the freezer compartments were easily removed and sensibly compartmentalised. Caveat is the nett storage takes a hit from the small spaces in between that can't be utilised. It's $1,259 inclusive of a $150 cold storage voucher. Is he trying to pull a fast one on me or is Fisher & Paykel the real deal? How about cheaper/better bottom freezer alternatives of similar size?
