Sorry for late reply.

Bring it back as check-in luggage if you are not buying a lot. For bulky items, they can help with the shipping (at an additional cost).

Just back from Guangzhou, did not buy much.

Some lights, bags, cushion covers, curtains, some home decor stuffs

All within a box.

For those who wants to fly over and ship them back, I think is worth it.

You will be able to save at least 50%.

Moreover, the photos we saw from TB and AliExpress can be deceiving.

They have many grades for the same items.

Those corals are so beautiful.

Yes, they are very therapeutics.

My wife also likes it and doesn't make noise about this hobby.

In Guangzhou the aquaria stuffs are cheap too.

Below this coral is only $16, Singapore should be selling 2-3 time more!

Hi, do you have any recommendations for shopping in GuangZhou? and how do we ask her higher grades items? Thanks :)

Hi Butter,

There are some apps you can download.

Go to :

Guangzhou railway station(their MRT Station) for all your clothings, sports and leather goods

OneLink Plaza - Haizhu Station for all your home decor needs. (recommended)

Gongyuangian station- Big South road for all your LED and lightings

Pazhou station for 8 floors of furnitures shops ( recommended)

Sun Yet Sun University station for your Curtains

Huandiwan sation for pets/fish,birds,plants and wood carvings

Tiyu XiLu for all the electronics goods

There are many bib shopping centres which you can find from the apps.

There are many shops selling the same items and you can compare the grades.

Eg. Lights and clothings, of course usually the cheaper ones are of poorer grades.

This looks great!! May I know where to get this?

Thanks!

I got it at Crate and Barrel- Ion Orchard.

I bought it at Christmas Sales at 20% discount.

If you are keen you can have it, I have not taken delivery.

Because I intend to exchange it to other stuffs.

After discount is $295.20.

There is a piece on display there.

You can also hang it at 90deg angle, as you can disconnect the whole piece into half.

PM me if you are keen, if not I'm going to exchange it to other stuffs.

At least you get to enjoy 20% discount.

Hi, please make sure your yard has sufficient sunlight before you start gardening.

Thanks, I'm aware.

I'm trying to place beyond the yard by way of making use of the external hanging pole.

Of course it will be safely secured.

You are into this too?

I am a beginner to high rise gardening. For hydroponics based planting, you will probably need electricity for the water pump. Do make sure you have a provision for an extra power point in the yard.
