How Much Does It Cost To Have A Water Heater ?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm thinking to add a water heater (not decided instant or storage type) to my 25 yr old flat.

May I know how much does it cost to do the wirings (as the old estate does not have power points for heaters) and also the pipings.

any recommendations is also appreciated ! :P

If you do not want eletrical wiring, then why don't you use gas-powered.

Trouble is: you will have to "re-piping" of all the water points in your bathroom. One is for warm/hot water and the other is for cold water.

It should cost you more, but it will save you money on the eletrical bill plus one heater is free from CityGas (if the promotion is still there).

Another nice thing, you can just set the heater running. It won't uses the gas until you 'command' the hot water .. :good:

ya, for storage heater, you will need to re-run the waterpipes(one for cold and one for hot).

instant heater will save lots of $$$. no re-piping needed.
