wdeva 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2018 Hi all, As i'm doing renovation of my new BTO. Would like to check if it is normal to have electrical wiring running on the floor before laying the tiles? Is this good/normal practice? or lazy work from the electrician? Thanks!
AndreaLee 3 Report post Posted May 30, 2018 If office then i see before this situation, but if it is housing, i don't think so . From what I know, if you have done ur flooring first only wiring then it is like this.

RenoTalkForumBuddy2 2 Report post Posted June 6, 2018 cause normally wiring is hid under the floor ( for some that is skillful) , so if you have done ur flooring already, you have no choice but to do the wiring above ur floor and hence like that

Just want to be sure that doing this way is normal. Checked with some friends and theirs were done like this too
Tan 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2018 This is not the way to install wiring, it will trap water in the trunking and cause tripping in future. I can be very sure your electrician got no licence.
