Can cancel HDB purchase transaction before handover

Hi i recently purchased a flat and then found out that there was an unattended death in the flat. The family of the deceased did not do any prayers for him and left the house empty. We could bring contractor in to view the house after OTP but during that time I would feel giddy and a presence in the house. Tried doing ritual with monk with owner's consent but the spirit refused to leave. Only way is to do a ritual which cost thousands which I dont have. As seller withheld this information, is it possible to cancel the transaction although we only have the handover left to do?
