or lion open big mouth and asked for $15psf for normal aluminium :dunno::unsure:

now exploring the possibility of dismantling the grilles from my current home

and bringing them over for some slight modification to fit the windows

If it was installed by you and the meaurement fit, don't see why not.

Still remember last time people move house also move their grilles together.

When you sell your house, the price includes permanent fixtures inside including aircon even ... If you take away your grills, buyer will have to pay extra to replace. Unless buyer wants to replace anyway, then you would be able to take it with you.

hehe, should have made myself more clear

i have cats so very afraid of them jumping out the windows

if i can't find grilles with small enough gaps to prevent that from happening, i will not open any windows liao

my current home grilles are small enough but it seems that no ones does it anymore (or asking for $15psf for aluminium)

:notti::dunno:

My friend also keeping cats....wat she do is buy those black wire mesh from DIY shop.

The holes are very small, and she did it until so tidy fastening it with black fasterners...

Clean and tidy. Bt the downside is that no wind will come in and it can be quite stuffy.

I tink tis is more practical.
