lol. i would say colin really very chin chye. but i recommended 3 biz to him oso leh. all big projs abv 40k too. so cannot be so niao with me? n sometimes we give n take. like tat time de toilet window glass he use the wrong one. i oso tell him nvm. for faults which i think i can accept i close one eye too =p

true true, abit of everything olways looks nicer. juz like food, eat too much oso get sian my quotation is 2400bucks alone to lay wall tiles for 2 bathroom (note my ceiling height is 2.85m). tiles are suppose to be of 2.50buck n below. but de tiles i took is of 2.80psf for the tiles in common bathroom with 11psf for the mirror tiles. mbr bathroom tiles not done up yet. but de whole toilet i select those in de range of 3.60psf. id nv ask me topup money as of now btw, no need envious la. u oso can do one =) hehe. ID nv ask me for xtra. so i assume...

haha. clear glass is good. i oso like. but for privacy issues we took slightly tinted. but not very obvious. dust oso not so visible. if u c de pics from my renoblog, will notice tat they look quite clear too

huh?? actually i like clear glass, while hubby like dark tinted. so we choose de middle.. dark tinted more fashionable meh? my old hm reno 20yrs ago is black tinted wor n i tot black attracts more heat? erms..

haa. ya. but if u use alot of deco times. ID dun absorb one wor. anyway ur ID was oso nice enugh, to absoorb de cost. but i believe dey oso have some kind of discount when dey get de tiles from de tile shop one haha. it's juz an illusion. it's not as big as u c it out to be

hey.. why nv lay all ur tiles horizontally?? looks wierd with vertical tiles. but the red tiles really bright n cheery. makes me wonder if i shuld have picked a brighter tile now...

all my kitchen n toilet tiles are black. so black grouting shuld serve pretty nicely. but of cos when my living room floor tiles are white, i wun use black grouting. cos they'll stand out like a sore thumb

change to lollipop pink! will look absolutely yummy

hehe. is not per piece 11bucks. is 11bucks psf. one piece is abt 1.5sqft, thus making it to be 16.50 each luckily my ID covered the cost for me... so cannot make it pay for so much extra tiles la. thanx. very happy. finally starting to see the progress of reno taking shape

hehe. seems like black grouting is getting common, esp when most of us are using black tiles everywhere initially my iD suggested me to use a tile which oso when laid horizontal, will have the lines on the tiles going vertical. i immediately decide to choose some other tiles.

was greeted by a pleasant surprise when i open my door. floor tiles in living areas are done up. still quite abit of masonry work to do. but ID called me in de afternoon to inform me tat masonry work will be completed on schedule. either nxt tues or wed, n plastering guys will be in on tues to start their plastering! have arranged aircon guys to come in on the 10th of nov to fix up de aircon. so excited!! anyway work done from tues-thurs (3days): - living, dining & foyer floor levelled - tiling in living area & walkway to rooms done (abit left to be done at dining area) - approx 50% of wall tiling done in kitchen - approx 70% of common bathroom wall tiling done need to check with ID some stuffs on sat: - tiles outside windows to be done by plastering or masonry guys - confirm wrough iron gate design - confirm electrical plan pics time now!! pleasant surprise when i open the main door: (floor tiles done for living room) from my living room looking at the walkway to bedroom & dining area (see some floor tiles not layed at dining area) the u-bar done outside study room which will be used to hold the 2.4m height glass panel kitchen from the living room area (not sure if any work done here ) (my open concept kitchen ) kitchen from the dining entrance (a small glimpse of my partly done up common bathroom left hand side ) a slightly closer view of my tiles in the common bathroom (photos juz dun do justice to my beautiful tiles) lastly my decorative reflective mirror tiles in the common bathroom (the gap in btw is for some mosaic tiles) hehe. tat's all to share for now!! till sat when i meet my ID again. but i guess dey wun be able to do much on juz fri alone? so not much to share oso?

black toilet really looks good! i went over to my place, saw the close to completion black common bathroom without the floor tiles. yummy in actual!! but turn out soso in de pics. pics really dun do justice to black toilet, esp when de lighting is not bright enugh, at this time when my electricians are not in to fix up my lightings yet!! how come ur ID lay the tiles horizontally? than u shuld buy earlier, so can cater for their delay?

y not choose another wall tiles? i would very much prefer to lay my wall tiles horizontally. so wun find a tile tat have vertical lines when layed horizontal

wow. mbr bathroom sink outside de bathroom? erms. i'll be using a mirror to block one of the window, cos i have 2. cos my ID says using a wooden block will not be good in the long run, esp in de toilet, where there's alot of water condensation. de wood will rot over time.

i think u will have the same headache with me. mbr bathroom window at the sink area, so basically de window is blocking the location where the mirror is suppose to go. either seal up one window, or place mirror over window?

erms.. some of mine are ard 2.8m.. but very little i think. cos most of the places i did false ceiling

haha. i definitely did not. emailed my request to: - ho bee (patrick) - intradesign (angeline) - gplan (kelvin) - inzen (roy) - baroque - renozone (colin) - ***** - ideal house only receive back 4 quotes - renozone - inzen (nv quote based on my request) - baroque (too costly, 60k while others are ard 45-48k) - ideal house (not so clickable with id) finally settle for renozone after meetin up with both ideal house n renozone.

my hm. outside kitchen, living room, bedroom oso have. asked id to hack after i realised last friday!! nv hack at least cement over or something!!

erms. 499.50 seems like quite a good price. do they have red? if dey do, i'll consider getting it for my study room
