  1. I paid $1000 for the Vono Spinal Care III King Size... Orignal pricing S$1090... Free delivery as well...
  2. So far so good... I don't feel the heat build up even i sleep under non air-con condition.
  3. Dear all, since there is nobody do a review on the VONO mattress, I shall start the ball rolling. Recently, I have bought a Vono Spinal Care III. The features of this mattress are: 1. Intalok Springing System 2. Anti-Dust Termite Treatment 3. Sanitised Jacquard Demask Fabric 4. Edge Stabliser 5. Most of all, back care The rating of firmness is 8/10 which I found it was not as hard as other mattress offer. In fact, it is quite confortable whether the sleeping position on sideway or faceup. Oh ya, just to give you a more info on this brand, it is the sister comapny of Slumberland. If you have extra cash, it will be good to choose Slumberland. For Vono, it is value for money as now, almost (80%) models are given 50% discount. For entry buyer, I would suggest this brand as it is not only give you the level of comfort but the 'degree of your pcoket burning" is lower as well. Of course, you have to get the feel by testing (sleep) on it. When I bought this mattress, a mattress pad and 2 pilllows were given as a free gift. By the way my mattress size is KING. For more info... you can check it out @ www.vono.com.my I think the production is in Malaysia but branding is from U.K
  4. Just to share with you my experience with city gas heater. It is a great water heater I ever used. The advantages are: 1. Save the electricity bill with no joke!!! (Gas Heater - Cheapest vs Electric Heater and Storage Tank - Quite Expensive) 2. It required a battery to ignite the gas which I change once every 2 years. (Now 3rd years for me using it) 3. It takes 2 second for the water to heat up (Compare to Storage Tank - not so sure how long it needs to boil the whole tank of water) 4. As and when you can adjust the flow rate and the temp of the water... 5. One gas heater to supply main bathroom and masterbed room toilet. (If you have 3 bathroom, I beleive it works well also) 6. Made in Japan (Quality is there) 7. If power failure, your water heater still running without failed!!! (No link with electricity, still can enjoy hot bath while w/o light on) 8. Eco Environment (For person who like to go green) 9. Lastly, I believe it is quite safe to use gas for the heater. Touch wood, so far so good.... Unfortunately, I regretted to buy gas dryer... which I believe it does a good job for my wet clothes...
  5. I spending between 150$ to 200$ to purchase white paint and DIY my 5 room flat...
  6. Just to share my marble in the living hall
  7. 5 rooms @ Wellington Circle 5th floor --> 5 mins walk to mrt. COV @ 13k during January 09 period
  8. Kindly refer to: http://www.pyeproducts.com/prodetails.php?...ATI〈=en
  9. To add 1 more point. Do this to your wall (kitchen and toilet) and floor (living and bedroom) tile only. Not for marble flooring!!!! For toilet flooring, no point doing it as it is wet area and soon e dirt will come back again!!!
  10. It is actually using tile grout ready mixed paste. Firstly, using a grout knive to remove the black stained for 0.5mm thickness. Secondly, clean the grout line with wet cloth. Thirdly, apply the grout paste onto the line and let it dried for 5mins. Then, use a wet cloth to clean the exccessive paste on the side of tile. Clean it at 45 degree angle so that the paste in the grout line is homogenity. Lastly, let it dried for 2 hours. That u got the results. A bit tedious but it worth to try..... 1 container of paste 0.5kg is $7++.... i bought it from Homefix... The brand is PYE. You could actually get it from hardware shop... cheaper I believe.
  11. When I bought over resale flat... the bomb shelter tile is homogenous.. I guess it can be done....
  12. For me, I would not switch on the air-con in the living hall daily. It is only when the weather is warm or guest is being invited to my home. So non-inverter is good enough. Maybe for others, they switch on daily so inverter to them is more energy efficient.
  13. Basically for my one, it is a solid plywood with laminate ABS trimming
  14. I agree with you as I am paying COV 14k for 5 rooms at sembawang too. Where is your location?
  15. I would suggested you install inverter system 3 x 9,000BTU for all the 3 rooms and non-inverter 1 x 24,000 btu living hall. Thus you required 2 compressor sitting side by side at the ledge. For brand of air-con, you can choose MHI, Mitsu Elec, Toshiba and etc.... in fact it is a feel from you
  16. This could be the direct factory price if i am not wrong....
  17. It is 26ft up and bottom....
  18. You may find court megastore at Tampines also has the kitchen cabinet on promotion... from $999 to $1999. I think it is just the cabinet by itself.
  19. That one I am not too sure. Different ID has different said. Sometimes, they consult from contractor.
  20. I wish too. But budget constrain.
