Is there any LED downlight in the market that can swivel, which is bright enough for me to read on the bed? -
Anyone bought their rattan chairs ... quite cheap (under $50)? Dunno whether they will hold?

Another question: Can I have the modem for broadband and the Hubstation share the same cable point in my living room? How do I connect?

thanks hawthorne. guess my analysis is right. i can not get faster than 8mbps, whether using N or G network. but internal streaming/ file sharing will be faster... problem w N is that i need an N adapter for my wifi equipment right? otherwise they would still stream at G, even if my router is dual band?

Anyone knows?

Went to Comex recently and learnt about the Linksys Simultaneous Dual N Band Router that can speed transfers up cos it has 2 bands and apparently the "n" wifi standard is faster (up to 300 mbps!) than the "g" standard. My question is - does it make a difference to me when my Starhub plan is 8 mbps? Seems like no matter how fast the "n" standard is, I will still get 8 mbps at best - is my analysis correct? Would the dual band help? - I think maybe my 8 mbps will be distributed better (I stream music sometimes) if I have 2 bands ... so maybe this feature is not bad. Again, is my analysis correct?

Hi I'm looking for the following items and not sure which brands/ models are good. Appreciate any recommendation: 1. Telephone - I need a Twin Dect (to use with Starhub Digital Voice), one for living room and one for MBR. If possible, I would like to be able to use Skype (standalone, without having to switch on my computer) with it. Is there are such phones in the market? 2. DVD recorder - I would like one that can play DVDs of all region, with some HD space as well as ability to burn into DVDs. I heard some of the playback after recording into DVDs is not good. Anyone knows a good one to recommend? I don't need something very high-end. About 160GB of HD space is enuff as I will probably burn them into DVDs. Thanks!

I'm looking for a magnetic door stop, those you attached to the back bottom of the door to hold the door open. Prefer something that doesn't stick out too much ... any recommendations?

If I subscribe to Maxonline and i have a modem and router set up, for wireless network, but i would like to have wired internet access in another room, can I just buy another modem to connect to another access point in another room, and connect via ethernet? or must i buy one of those ethernet adapters that connect to your electrical socket (eg. http://www.netgear.com.sg/Products/Powerli...rs/HDX101.aspx)? Does this consume a lot of electricity?

Sorry, what is S&C? Where is it?

It has a control and speakers which looks like sockets. You plug your music source in and you can distribute music to anywhere in the room you have the speaker installed. Anyone knows how to attach pics here? -
Any one tried this before.... it fits like a socket onto the wall. Is it expensive? Any problems with it?
