Hi... I'm here to share my experience how "clean" is my new estate water is... Everyone know that punggol is a new estate, and of cos everyone also know that singapore water is so "CLEAN" that can drink from our home tap water. BUT do you know how clean it was? One day i was preparing hot water for my coffee, and i found out that there's lots of small particulars. At first i tot it was my container that was dirty, but after that i realise that all those small particulars it from the tap itself. And amazingly i found out that those particulars was harden CEMENT!! And just imagine that we're drinking partial cement water into our body, over the year what will happen to our body system?? I did complain to HDB, but not action taken though. So the only way is to self pre caution. So we decide to find the best water treatment system for our family members. And we found it from the internet and found out that "e Spring" is one of the best and it is small enf to place it in our kitchen and it is stylish too. So guys out there, especially those who lives in the new estate, do consider get one for your own house. For those who want to know where to get it, please do PM me and i'll advice you.

Hi Alucard, After read your post, i find it slightly at a high side. especially your bomb shelter feature wall and the tic tac door. Maybe you can give my ID a try. His name is Kelvin (92256464). He's a nice guy. Very patient, friendly, helpful and thoughtful. And of cos, he is very creative and his design is very nice and functional. You can give him a call if you want. No harm getting another quote to compare in price and in person. Cos when you renovate your home, you must go thru it with your ID or contractor. So the first impression is very important. You must feel confortable with them first. That's is all base on my previous experience when i renovated my house in 2008 sept. Just a susgestion to you. Hope you could find a reliable person to do up your place. Cheers...

Hi Dr. Evil, Remember me? I recommended him to you... So You engaged Nu Space Design, Kelvin to did up your house? Care to share your renovation experience with us regarding Nu Space Design? So others can take note about it and can be more careful during renovation period. When were you been engage him to do up your place? How long did he drag your home than handover to you? And also, did he give any reason why his contractors didn't turn up as promissed? Cos during my renovation period last year Sept, he did also delay about a week dan handover to me but is due to my mistakes cos we last min change our mind from LPG gas to city gas. So he still had to ask his carpenter to take out the kitchen cabinet and re-install it without charging me any cost. Anyway, maybe you can share with us your experience too, so our newbies can gain more informations and where or which area they should take note. Cheers....

Hi Rosliluxe, As for my house is a design and build house, so my total renovation contract come out to be $27k. And they throw in one set of TEKA cooker hood and hob plus TEKA sink and tap. So i check out the price IF i purchase myself will be around $1,700!! Overall we're happy with the job he done for us. And my relative and friends also impress with the design he did for us. Hi PRX, I engaged them for my new flat last year. The ID name is Kelvin. (9225 6464) He's patient, responsive very well verse in his design ideas. He's so helpful enough that he'll spend weekend with us to shop and give his advise on our soft furnishing. As for their worksmanship, i should say reasonable good, as we know renovation there's no 100%. But for sure, he'll arrange and get it done for us without any complains. One thing i can very assured that he's very creative in his design ideas. That why we choose him instead of others well known design firm though their price isn't the cheapest. For us we never regret to engaged them cos the most important thing is that he deliver his work on time for our wedding day!! The above comments is for your info only. Hi hi... Maybe you can contact kelvin (9225 6464) from Nu Space Design. He's very patient, reliable and responsive. He will try to solve whatever problem you have & also advise you what should do & what should not. We really have a no worries & any headache during my house renovation in June 08. He'll supervised & overlook the renovation process and make sure our house is ready and handover to us on time. Just to share only... Hope you can get a good quote & excellent design from him. Hi Duracell, Your quote seem like at the mid-high side. Provided they give you an outstanding design and of cos their service from the start till the end. Maybe you should look around and get another two quote to compare from their service, design and pricing. Just share with you how i do my homework during the my renovation period. 1) Do get recommended ID from friends or here. (Reno Talk forums) cos all this ID did their house for them so they know the ID firm right inside out. 2) Once you meet up the ID (designer), he or she must give you a good impression and his/her professionalisum(They should give you their ideas and their advise on what should do & what should not) 3) His/her design scents & ideas This is important! He/she must be the one who design your house rather than their in-house designer to design for you. Cos you are engage them to do your house NOT the in-house designer. You're paying your hard earn saving for your house reno and you depend on them to do a good job for you right? 4) Lastly, come to pricing. If e designer come out a uniqe and functional design for you, but the prices is abit or slightly higher from your budget. Than it depend on you whether you want to neg with them. This is my tots... ##Cheap not Last, Good not Cheap## hehe... Anyway for all the above "lor saw" is just all the little tips for you to consider only. Maybe you can give my ID a try IF you don't mind. His name is Kelvin (92256464) from nu space design. He's a nice and patient guy with lots of new ideas. That why we choose him out of 4 others ID. He will try to solve whatever problem you have & also advise us what should do & what should not.
