Hi hdbfan, Have sourced for a few contractors from this forum but have not decide which to select yet becos is still early. Actually, wat are they doing near the coffeeshop, I dun ready know. I tot they are putting up lights there. Do u know that the renov on the 4 storey block already completed. I went there with my wife and lady owner invited us to go into their house the see their renov. Look quite nice, only hall abit small becos they build a room in the hall.

Hi hdbfan, Learn abit on Fengshui here and there from internet and also listen to people says. U will be more convenience then me. Come out of MRT, go to 2nd floor of the mall. Then take the lift from 2nd floor right up to ur home. I dunno got any link from the 2nd floor of the mall to the point blk or not. If not, I may need 2 take a the lift from 2nd floor to 8th floor (roof garden) of the slab blk and walk over to the point blk and then get the lift up again to my house.

Hi hdbfan, Ya, the water feature will be at the structure being made against the pillar of my blk facing Bengawan Solo. I dun really into fengshui, but do take note some fengshui practices during renov. Eg., like dun place the fridge or water basin opp or very close to the stove. Try to place the bed and sitting position to the best of ur fengshui position. Do not put ur bed directly facing the door. I notice that my new flat the common toilet is in the centre of the house which is no good for fengshui. Some suggest to put close the toilet bowl after use and put up curtain at the toilet door. I prefer to close the toilet door after use. My new hse the facing position is South-West West (hope to see the sea/river from the living room) and sitting position is North-East-East (hope to see Bukit Timah hill from Main Bedroom), got "Shan" got "Shui" . The area with more windows (bright side of ur hse) is the facing position and the darker side is the sitting position. Ur best position is base on ur Kua number ( depend on ur birth date).

Hi hdbfan, Next time when everything is ready, the traffic will be very congested, we can cars, vans and buses all over the place. Some going in the building and some come out of the building. Dun know people going to cross the road, By then, we can look down from our flat to witness the busy Clementi town centre. I also dun know whelther got security system or not but tat dun borther me, becos I take bus n mrt. How often do u reccee, I alway there in the morning, but dun see much progess leh. Do see workers cleaning the windows at the point blk.

Hi neubie, I think is typo-error. A 2 in front is missing becos all transactions are above $200k. Where in Singapore u can find a flat so cheap?

Hi hdbfan, The roof top look like completed. The contractor still need to install a flat roof above the flat. Ya, u can store all ur barang barang up there no body knows. The other day, I went to see in the evening after work. Look inside quite eriee leh especially now chinese 7 months. Wat is the purpose of installing lights there? For quideing vehicle moving in or wat ? can vehicle enter or not ? I got no ideal wat is it.

The 3rm beside ur future flat look like got bigger living area becos it dun have the corridor to the room whilst the 3rm at the other corner look like condo but with smaller living area. So ppl choose 3rm on their own preferrence. If I choose, I will choose the other corner, not becos of condo-likem but it is not so hot. I think my budget exceed $40k becos of the glass partition for study, kitchen and hacking of kitchen wall, excluding purchase of elect stuff and furntire. Try to keep some old elect stuff and furnitue that are useable. I notice the tiles at the coffee shop but I din notice any lights. Will look at it when I go there. The house on the 4th floor storey already install the roof, but inside still under renov. I notice the last day of this renov is overdue. Is there anything wrong with the contract? Hi hdbfan, I, know my neigbour below selected 3rm, they told me becos of their outstanding loan they cannot get 4rm and also some old couples selected 3rms, becos their children are staying with them. I hope after demolised the blk 445 and town council, they dun built anything there, prefer to have more greenery then concrete walls again.

Ya, Need to find a good contractor who is skillful but not easy to find, we only can base on our ppl recommedation and see their on-going projects. Blk 441A got 66 apartments and blk 441B got 256 apartments, so if 66 families all shift to 441A, still got 256 families still staying in the old blks, so it would not be deserted I think.

Ho HDBfan, If the wall is not those thick wall tat use to support the building, then usually u can hack the wall. I dun use IKEA furniture therefore I got no comment about it. So u not getting contrator to do up ur funiture ?

Hi Hdbfan, I tot Yishun MRT going to be air-con only, tat is y re-sale houses near the MRT at yishun demand $60k COV. I dinno will hv similar planned development like us. Only hear rumours tat NTUC fairprice going to move in to Clementi Mall, Sheng Siong, never heard of it. I think letter boxes will be at the ground floor, dun expect the postman/woman to park his/her bicycle downstair and take the lift to deliver letter to u. Will check with the workers if happen to chat with them. Hv pm u my floor plan, pls check.

You tell ur colleague if you sell ur house, where r u going to stay? If u buy good location u also have to pay high price. Pls read PM. Not many buses park at the new interchange at nite. I think enuff space for the buses. Need to buy some furnitures, my furnitures also 20yrs old.

Hi hdbfan, I dun mind to get my key early, but will think to take by sweet time to prepare for the renovation since is still early. Btw, I am always there, every weekdays morning around 8.10am to see the progress, if u canSo , we can meet around the metal chairs at the 4-storeys block. I dun mind to invite u to see my flat when I get my key. Today morning part of the fence facing MRT was removed. I think no need to control the crowd, once is open to pubic, it would safe for ppl to walk around freely. So far I oredi found 2 of my new neigbours tat stay in same level, hv u found any new neighbours so far.

Hi hdbfan, Got second ltr from HDB, Pt blk going to be completed soon. Probable date Oct 10. Once completed will infrom me to possess flat. Yesterday evening, the metal fencing beside Cityvibe also removed. According to the china workers, the point pt is ready, should be handover to HDB end of this week.Tot of going to IMM to see look see look for IDs this weekend. The ID in the forum all so so. far away leh. I think the link from the shpg to MRT should hv shelter. Did u hv HDB to do up the flooring in the living area and bedrooms? For my case, I did not.

The purpose of this letter is to ask me about HDB loan. Need to reply them by 3.8.10. They need to process the loan then can release the key.

Today just received a letter from HDB that I will be getting my key soon, but did not mention the date. Compare to Queenstown & Ghim Moh, ours is a BIG BIG project therefore take longer time to complete. Actually, allmost every morning before I go to work. I will walk up the 4-storey block to have a view of the work done below from 3rd floor. It is true that their common corridor is very dusty, feel bad for them. BTW I dun think LKY will visit our place, may be I think Arthur Fong bah.
