Pet: You can try Java moss or Christmas moss. Easier to maintain. familyof4: Just now called to order PD door but was told to change to bi-fold. Many complains about PD. If I insist want PD, then have to order from the manufacturer.

Hi Angel, actually it's not that bad to keep puffer. There are two ways to go around it. You put them in solitary or the other way would be to have a heavily forested landscrape.
-
Jason just draw the sketch yesterday and ask me to think about it. I think his sketch is good enough. Once I get the laminate book this evening, should be able to confirm maybe tomorrow or Friday. So if one week to fab, think will be next Fri. Don't know if I should carry on to arrange mover next saturday.
-
May will get a Nippon book on the way home. Your little girl must be very cute. Must take care, ok.
-
Lucky you. For me it is lesson learnt. When first introduce the puffer, didn't know about them eating shrimp, thought only snails. Maybe he is abit shy on the first day. Second day come home after work, found all shrimps disappear. Was hunting high and low. If you want puffer, do get the faster fish. Slower fishes will either be tailess or on his dinning plate.

He did mentioned about the 3 in 1 but my current place is also 3 in 1. Didn't see any difference in colour and also don't know what he meant. He said the paint is like that. Anyway he only give me ICI, can mix with Nippon? Maybe tonight go take Nippon catalogue. Ok lah, you better off your computer and rest.

Ya must complain already, must complete before you!! Just joking with you. Talk about the HO, I really headache. Both uncle and Jason asked me if they can just finished 3 rooms and without carpentry. That would solve one problem. If we are living there and workers are also working there, my family is violently against the idea. There are also logistics problem like what happen if things are lost when we are not around. It is very inconvenient esp for ladies. I did told uncle that it is alright if we moved in and arrange one sat to fixup everything.

I will decide by this evening and let him know. Just curious what type of ICI did you choose? Like all-in-one,pentalite, etc?

familyof4: Glad to see that your reno is progressing well. Think should complete earlier than me. I am quite sceptical that my reno can be completed on time. Anyway I will have to commit to the landlord if I want to rent his unit for one or two weeks. Please have a good rest since you are unwell. Take care, ok.

Update for the day. Met Jason yesterday evening to collect laminate brochure but he forgotten to bring. But he managed to so some sketches for me and ask me to think about it. Quite brief. Think he likes to talk and was tell me his story. Confirmed with him on the wooden doors. PD door, he asked me to talk to Ah Hock direct. Didn't check on the house yesterday because still doing tiling. Piping also didn't start because accordingly to Jason, tiling must be completed first. He will arrange the piping to start. Will go down and see what is the status. Also reminded him to cover the floor after finished as I see that they use the empty tiles box to cover the floor. Can still see many areas not covered. Need to confirm paint soon.

Ok thanks for the advice. Will make a trip down today or tomorrow to draw on the wall.

Pet: Wah, still talking about fish. Actually if you take care, shrimps are not difficult as long as you got the right condition. Pufferfish do aim at other fishes. They have the habbit of nibbing the tails of other fishes. Some people buy feeder(fish) to feed the puffer. Ivy: Maybe it's the nitrate level too high that causes all the fishes and shrimp to die. Don't worry too much. When your house is ready, you can try again. BTW are you the Ivy at amk? Forgot to mention Puffer and shrimp don't go together.

Currently do not have any roller shelves. Experience the problem of taking in and out my AVR. Currently AVR is about 15kg and the old one is about 20kg. So it is very tiring taking in and out and especially when the space is quite small. Maybe with the roller shelves, it will save a lot of effort. Yes usually you dont take the AVR in and out. For me, I like experimenting with different cables, and even DIY cat5 cables.

No problem, it's just a draft sketch. Ok will create again tonight. Last night too tired forgot to save the file. Jason didn't mentioned who is the elect guy. He also didn't walk thru with me or write on the wall. I just passed him the layout. He told a glance and said ok and then paste it on the wall. Maybe the layout is comprehensive enough or they are just doing the wiring and not the switch and sockets. Eh..talk about it my layout didn't indicate where to put the switches?? Is it necessary?
-
For me, I have make the decision and confirm with Jason if it is alright. In fact, I just pass the layout with the switches and another on lighting. He glanced through and told me ok no problem. That's it.
-
Quite true. I am using my yahama woofer as a guide. It's about 33cm height I think. So what is your recommended suspended height?
-
Maybe drawing on the wall will help. Unfortunately today cannot step into the room because of the tiling.
-
oops I didn't save the drawing. Think should be about 30cm. You might adjust the height if you want to put woofer below.

Update for the day. Quite tiring day today. Rush from work to PR to meet Uncle and Jason. Jason quite professional. He called me 20 mins earlier to inform me that he is reaching. Discussed piping with uncle but seems he is in a rush. He suggested his way of doing the piping and left us to discuss about electrical, grille, carpentry. Jason told me definitely cannot finish by this month. I told him Uncle has already committed. Jason told me if want to finish by end of the month, we have to finalised the electrical wiring, switches and lights today. Fortunately I have prepared everything before hand. With that no need to discuss since everything is on the layout. He just help to tranlate some english to chinese for the electrician and stick the layout on the wall. After measuring the doors, we left. I will need to confirm the doors, grilles, gates tomorrow. When got home, feel that the piping is not very right. So I draw on a paper and indicate how I want to lay the pipes. Went to make copy and uncle asked me to pass to Allan. Quite strange Allan told me if got any problem can tell him. So I told me the only problem I have is to complete by this month else I need to pay 500 bucks renting for a week.
-
Came back abit late today and did a rough sketch for you to visualise.
-
Can no problem. But can do it tonight when I get home after the discussion.
-
Glad to hear that you are used to that approach of working. For me I am the opposite type and like to plan ahead. Guess both ways has it's pro and cons. 3 weeks means that it might affect your HO. Hope he can expedite for you and you are right, it is rather inconvenient when work is being done with children around.
-
If you wanted 6ft then 12" height might be a bit too tall. But if you have already discuss with Jason and feel that it complement well with the feature wall, I think it should work out fine. Maybe one suggestion I have would be to put to scale and see if you like it.
-
That is good. Out of 10 times, I think I called him 9 times, haha... So when he call, I will think it must be something serious.
-
familyof4: Im working out the dimension for the tv console. Can check with you if you console is 6ft? So if 4 compartment, then the width should be each 1.5ft right?
