  1. TPY is super duper convenient especially that i only need to walk 3-5mins to the mrt station/central. BUT, i cannot afford tpy flats. hehe... 4rm at my current blk = EM at yishun + 1 continental car
  2. 1. Hope we can use CPF again to buy the 2nd home. OR do we need to use bank loan ebcause we are 2nd time buyers? Any ideas? u can definitely use CPF to buy house, no matter your 2nd, 3rd or 4th. u can still take HDB loan if u upgrade, meaning from a 5rm to EA/EM/EC but you will have to take a bank loan if u get a 5rm. 2. We are wondering how much it costs to renovate a flat, say EM, a standard as yours and finding a good ID company. Can you PM me your ineterior design quote or estimate of renovation cost for a EM? PMed. 3. Is your housing agent good and can recommend? We hope to find one who is genuinely responsible and takes the effort to work with us on our financial plan and not just to seal the deal. Not sure which website is good to find reliable agents or can any other readers advise? i cant advise u on this as i'm not really impressed with my agent's serivce to recommend him to you.
  3. we will definitely be getting black as white will be a nightmare to maintain. we're leaning towards the univonna piece as well, cos it matches with our theme better with the cleaner lines. went to the sungei kadut outlet today and was quoted cheaper compared to when i was quoted at furniture mall. but the OM home piece is really comfy with a higher grade leather. wifey is now also considering Cellini's Flexi Home Package for $1,998 comprising of Sofa + Bedframe + Nightingale Mattress Orthopedic Master, although the sofa doesnt quite match but the package is really value for money
  4. OM Home Univonne short listed the above 2 choices for sofa. will definitely be taking black. having quite a hard time deciding. what do u guys think? which would u choose?
  5. anybody bought anything from OM home? any feedback?
  6. Brenda Kok from Wideangle Design, very satisfied with her. PM me if u want her contact.

  10. Hi all, my girl is coming 4 this Nov, wife is expecting our second in Aug. staying in Toa Payoh now, hoping to move in to Yishun by end May.
  11. went to take a look today, they were laying the kitchen wall tiles (will upload some pics when i get home) we're sourcing for kitchen sink, stove and cooker hob. any recommendations on where to get them?
  12. well... i thought so too. can save $$, just polish and the floor will look as good as new. BUT! on final inspection day after all furnitures were removed, saw that the floor was badly stained. asked around and determined that the stains were so bad that polishing was never able to remove it completely. so, we're going to hack the broken marble and change to 80cm X 80cm homogeneous tiles.
  13. hehe... i don't think i have the passion for teaching. i'm in the finance industry. reno has already started on 6 apr. most probably take 6-8weeks according to my ID.
  14. actually not much difference, comparing between urs and mine. u paid $340K for a 4A, i paid $384K for an EM. just that yishun flats are generally cheaper i guess.
  15. i think it appears more spacious is because previous owner hacked away the balcony and extended the living room area hihi, im at st 22. hmmm.... wait till i pen down my experience later, seriously regretted paying COV for it. hehe... but just comfort myself to think that as long as i like the place, dont bother too much. haha its actually broken marble.
